“A Night Out” is a ministry that centers around food and fellowship. There are currently five groups dining together (one women’s group and four couples’ groups) and we are ready to launch a fifth couples’ group.
Adults of all ages are encouraged to find a dinner group and/or act as a host and embark on a journey where new foods are discovered and new friendships are formed. Some dinners are one-time events and others will be ongoing. Venues can be St. Louis area restaurants and/or members’ homes. For more information, contact Trish Gunby, gunbyfamily(at)charter.net, 636-230-5597.
During this 5-week class, genealogy buff Rob Meinert will walk us through the basics of uncovering our family’s roots. Learn where to begin, tricks for discovery, types of evidence to look for and how to get organized. Childcare is provided with advance request.
Join Pastor Greg Weeks for a close-up look at the founder of Apple Computer. Steve Jobs was driven, creative, and eccentric man -- and we can learn from his example. At the same time, we can learn from the price he had to pay in order to "make a dent in the universe." This discussion will draw on information from Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography.
Join Pastor Greg Weeks for the second of his biography series. This time, we’ll look at the distinct personalities of these legendary musicians who offer us a wealth of insights, as well as unforgettable music. We'll use clips from the documentary series that accompanied the Beatles Anthology that came out in 2003.
