Each September-May our Sunday School program for ages 3- 4th grades uses Rock Solid, a Methodist curriculum which offers Christian learning through storytelling, drama, music, art, puzzles, and much more. Each year we explore some of the best loved stories in the Bible. Your child is warmly invited to participate in this time of learning, fun, and friendship!
We recognize 5th grade as an important transition time from elementary school to middle school. Our 5th graders have their own youth-oriented room between the children’s and youth departments. Using dynamic, interactive United Methodist curriculum specially designed for this age group, these students will focus on the life issues that face them daily. Guided by caring adults, this is a great place for students to connect how their faith intersects with life at home and school. Daily Bible reading is encouraged.
At 10:50 a.m., all children are encouraged to attend worship with their families. Prior to the sermon, children ages 3- 1st grade will be invited to attend “Kid’s Connection” in room 114. Together with caring adults, they will experience the theme of the day’s Scripture in creative, kid-friendly ways. Families will pick up their children from Room 114 at the conclusion of the worship service. Children attending worship at 9:30 a.m., or those remaining in worship at 10:50 a.m. will find age-appropriate and engaging worship materials available at the Children’s Welcome Center.
Visitors are always welcome in our Sunday morning ministries!. We have a Welcome Desk located on the lower level of the Children’s wing, and we would love for you to stop by.
