Save the Dates!

It’s almost time: November 16 kicks off the Fair Trade Oriental Rug Event and November 19 the Market opens at 9am. More than 2,500 square feet of Fair Trade certified clothing and accessories, coffee, chocolate and other foodstuffs, baskets and boxes, games, holiday items, home décor, jewelry, musical instruments, rugs, stationery and books, tableware, toys, sporting equipment… means something unique for everyone on your holiday list. Fair Trade means living wages for work free from sweatshop, child labor and unsound environmental practices. The Market is not a charity event or even a fundraiser; it’s a fair way to do business. Artisans and farmers from 50 developing countries thrive on the living wages from your choice to shop as a conscious consumer, paying a fair price for their work. What a deal when you consider the average-priced Market item of $20 is the base for transforming lives out of extreme poverty. Shopping, Food and Entertainment fun for the whole family! Do Good. Live Well. Fair Trade!

Spread the Word: Print or email the Fair Trade Market 2011 Flier (8.5x11”) or Poster (11x17”).  Print a few to keep in your car. During your normal routine ask to place one on the community board at work, school, church, grocery stores, coffee shops, gyms… all the places you visit.
