SUMMARY:Centering Prayer
DESCRIPTION:Day:  Mondays\nTime:   7:30-8:30 p.m.\nFormat:  Zoom Only (provided after registering)\nLeaders:  Tom Mitchell\nThe Centering Prayer group seeks to follow the Centering Prayer way, a form of Contemplation, to receive the gifts of God through receptive prayer, an ancient practice revived in modern times by Thomas Keating. The group is associated with Contemplative Outreach St. Louis.\nWe meet one hour a week by Zoom for 20 minutes of silent prayer, discussion, study, and sharing prayer concerns.\nNewcomers are welcome. Experience is not required. Newcomers are provided starting readings and are strongly suggested to attend an introductory workshop with Contemplative Outreach.\nBeing on Zoom, we come from near and far, and from different faith journeys.\nPlease complete one registration form per person:\n\n
