Season of Giving 2023
From Nov. 25 – Dec. 23 Manchester UMC celebrates the Season of Giving, Throughout the season of Advent, there will be opportunities to serve our community (donations at the Giving Tree) or of our time (serving at partner agencies) as the congregation provides much needed support to three of our vital outside ministries – LifeWise StL, Epworth Children & Family Services and Bridge Bread.
Starting Nov. 25, each Sunday morning in the lobby, Throughout the season of Advent, there will be opportunities to serve our community (donations at the Giving Tree) or of our time (serving at partner agencies) as the congregation provides much needed support to three of our vital outside ministries
Each Sunday during Advent, representatives from these agencies will staff the Missions kiosk in the lobby. The Manchester UMC community will have the opportunity to learn about what these agencies do, whom these agencies serve and see the specific needs. Individuals are able to put their faith into action in one or more of these ways:
- Donate needed items financially or tangibly
- Donate to the Christmas Missions Offering which is through your above and beyond financial giving
- Donate time by volunteering
God has given us the greatest gift of all, let’s give back with actions of faith this Season of Giving!

Christmas Offering
During this Season of Giving, above and beyond generosity is needed!
These above and beyond contributions to the Christmas Missions Offering directly go toward agencies in our community so they can receive financial support to continue serving those in our community.
Past beneficiaries of the Christmas Mission Offering include: Bridge Bread, Epworth Children and Families, HomeFirst, LifeWise StL, and Sneakers with Soul.
