Fall Programming 2022
Manchester UMC offers a variety of programming starting this fall. Several ministries are offering many options to grow in faith, be in fellowship, and connect to the community through classes, groups, and events. From the Children & Families Ministry to Adult Faith Formation to Worship Arts, there is something for everyone at all ages and stages of life.
Offered during the 9a worship service, Sunday school is a place for ALL children to learn the story of God’s love, connect their own experiences to the Biblical stories, and to find a place to belong. Our Sunday school team presents fun and engaging age appropriate curriculum for our 2 year old – 5th grade classes. Learn more.
PRAYground is available at the 9 and 11 am worship services. It is designed to allow children to participate in quiet play while still listening to the message during the sermon. Learn more.
The nursery is open on Sunday mornings during the 9 and 11 am worship services and is available for children who are 6 weeks to two-year-old’s who turn two by August 1. Learn more.
The Manchester UMC Children’s Choirs provide an engaging environment for children that encourages musical, spiritual, and personal growth through education, fellowship, and outreach. All children K-5th Grade are invited to join together to make music and grow as a community of faith. Learn more.
Youth (incoming 6th grade-17 years old) are invited to join in the Youth Center at 9 and 11a on Sunday mornings. Youth will eat breakfast snacks, have free play, and will watch the sermon via Facebook live. Learn more.
High School Small Groups
Youth will deepen their faith and deepen their relationships with others and focus on caring for each other while learning faith essentials through the Manchester Youth 3 Year Curriculum. Groups meet on various days during the week. Learn more.
Middle School Meet-Up
This is an informal gathering of youth in grades 6-8th. Youth play games together, grow in faith through small group discussion, and do art and mission projects. This group meets every Wednesday evening. Learn more.
Youth Leadership Teams
There are many ways to be a leader for the Manchester Youth. Team members learn valuable leadership skills while they plan and implement important aspects of Manchester Youth programming. Learn more.
By attending Youth Band Jams, Youth will learn popular modern worship songs and be coached on how to play as a band. Youth can also join Cantate, a choir sings in Sunday morning worship services on a regular basis, in addition to other performances within the community. Learn more.

Sermon Reflection Study Groups
Our Sermon Reflection Studies are produced in-house at Manchester UMC by the Pastor of Adult Faith Formation. This curriculum is produced weekly and is based off of the sermon for the week. Learn more.
The Bike House is open every Thursday from 8a to 2p. Some of the rehabbing tasks include: replacing tires, tubes, grips, brake pads, cables, cable housing, reflectors, seats, pedals, and kick stands. No experience needed. Tools and supplies will also be provided! Learn more.
Christmas Tree Lot
The Tree Lot opening is just three months away. There are always opportunities to serve and of course purchase a tree for the Christmas season. Proceeds from the Christmas Tree Lot support local charities: Epworth Children & Families, LifeWise STL, Circle of Concern, Scouting, and Pony Bird, Inc. Learn more.

On Wednesdays this Fall, multiple generations will gather from 5:30 to 6:30p for an affordable community dinner in Fellowship Hall at Manchester UMC.
