Date:  Saturday, September 8 through Sunday, September 9

Location: Babler State Park | 800 Guy Park Dr, Wildwood, MO  | Special Use Camping Area

Cost: $4/adult, Kids are free

Get away and join Pastor Jim Peich (and his family) and Chessey Brenton (and her family) for a fun and exciting overnight camping event. Located just a short drive from Manchester UMC, Babler State Park is a beautiful treasure that is filled with hiking paths and a wonderful special use group camping site. So, bring your family and friends and enjoy a wonderful campfire, s’mores and an evening under the stars followed by a brief outdoor worship service on Sunday morning.

Note:  Minors must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.

Camping Schedule

Saturday (Sept. 8, 2018)
3 to 6 p.m – Arrival, Setup and Free Time
6 to 7 p.m.- Dinner (Hot dogs, chips, etc.)
7 to 8 p.m.- Free Time and Campfire
8 to 10 p.m.- Campfire and S’mores

Sunday (Sept. 9, 2018)
8 to 9 a.m. – Breakfast and Campfire
9:30 to 10 a.m. – Worship and Holy Communion
10 to 11 a.m. – Free Time and Campfire
11 to 11:30 a.m. – Tear Down, Clean-up and Checkout

This event is open to the public. Bring your friends and neighbors!

What To Bring

  1. Tent and tent pad/tarp
  2. Sleeping Bag (or blankets) and pillow
  3. Air mattress (if you desire)
  4. Bug spray
  5. Flashlight
  6. Lawn chairs
  7. Hiking shoes
  8. Rain jacket
  9. Lawn games
  10. Wet wipes
  11. Your favorite snacks and beverage

You can also register in person at the church office or at the Faith Formation kiosk in the Narthex on Sunday mornings.
