Genesis 8:15-22. We experience life in cycles – daily, weekly, yearly. These seasons and cycles include times for work and times for sabbath rest. The cycles of living are a part of God’s covenant with Noah established by God as a way to shape our identity. Liturgy shapes our days through prayer, our weeks through worship, and our years through the church calendar.
