Luke 24:28-35. The story of the “Road to Emmaus” forms the basic structure for our worship life – gathering, proclamation, response/communion, sending forth. Our very lives are worship, and the rhythm of our worship shapes our identity both individually and as a community. The weekly gathering together of the community is a reminder of who God is and who God is calling us to be.
