Changed for Good

In Wicked, there is a difference between being changed for the “better” and changed for “good.” “Better” is the standards of the world, the expectations of the Wizard in this case. “Good” is change that happens in relationship, with God and with others. The Pharisees represent the standards of the world, and Jesus presents a different way, articulated in the words of “The Beatitudes.”
