Transfiguration of the Church

Mountaintop moments orient our relationship with God. Mystical encounters with the fullness of God's truth orient us toward the next step in our calling, a calling that is lived out in the valleys of this world. The church's witness to the transfiguration of Jesus gives us hope for the transfiguration of the Body of Christ today, so that as the church we might bring the fullness of God's reign to the world.
