Renew. Restore. Rejoice. Capital Campaign.
At Manchester United Methodist Church, we have been making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world for 200 years. Since our founding in 1826, generations have worshiped, learned, served, and encountered God on this campus. Our historic chapel, built in 1856, our sanctuary, and our surrounding grounds bear witness to faithful vision and sacrificial generosity that have shaped our congregation and the community that surrounds us. We trust that God, who has been faithful across two centuries, continues that good work among us today.
Manchester UMC is experiencing a season of renewal. The evidence is all around. Our world-class clergy and staff provide outstanding leadership in worship and ministry. Children and parents are growing in their faith. Young and old gather around community meals. Our music ministries raise our spirits heavenward. God is clearly at work—and now, it is time for us to respond.
As we celebrate our bicentennial, Manchester UMC is launching this capital campaign to ensure that our facilities match the ever-growing vitality of our community and ministries, and the promise of our future. Through this effort, we seek to raise a minimum of $3.5 million to strengthen our campus, address long-deferred maintenance needs, and renew our sanctuary for the next generation of worshipers.
