As a life-long Christian and native St. Louisan, David grew up in a Pentecostal church where he participated in music ministry from an early age. He enjoyed being involved in both choirs and Sunday School classes, singing his first solo in church at age 3.

Throughout his life, David has loved education, music, and communication, participating in music, drama, and writing. His love for pastoral work and theology led him to graduate with an M.Div. in 2015 and to pursue opportunities to serve both churches and parachurch/faith-based organizations. He enjoys learning, teaching, writing, arranging, conducting, praying, and reading and is glad to get to serve here as ministry coordinator at Manchester UMC.
