Hospital and Homebound Visitation

Illness and hospitalization can be a stressful life event. We would like to offer you both spiritual and emotional support during that time. Please contact the church office at 636.394-7506

Homebound During COVID-19

Our Visitation Care Team is a ministry of laity who meet regularly with our church’s home-bound members. Currently we are visiting by phone. We have anywhere from 50-60 members who are being served by a team of 20-25 lay people. This is extraordinary for a church this size. And the numbers are constantly in flux.

Hospital Visits During COVID-19

Let us know if you are in the hospital or are to be hospitalized. At this time we are making daily hospital visits by phone.

Visits When Things Return to Normal

Once COVID-19 has passed, if you will be going into the hospital, having surgery, coming home from the hospital, or are homebound, please contact the church office at 636.394-7506 and we will have a Pastor or visitation team member come and pray with you.

For pre-surgery prayer, please call the church office at 636-394-7506 with check-in-time, surgery time, and Hospital name.

But Jesus’s planned retreat was interrupted because the crowds discovered where he was and packed the place. In this setting, Jesus demonstrates his compassion, showing himself to be the Good Shepherd as he cares for his people, sacrificing his own much-needed rest.

In God We Trust

Throughout the centuries, “trust in God” has been a frequent theme in our prayers, our hymns and our sacred songs. It is certainly a biblical theme as well. In America, our money even proclaims “In God We Trust.” I invite you to join us for worship this weekend as we take a look at Psalm 105 and at the refrain, “In God We Trust.” Does that mean that we expect God will “fix” everything? What about free will? How should we really trust in God?
