As Finance Director, I am responsible for all accounting functions, and providing financial information and resources to support ministry leaders.  Our department processes all church receipts and disbursements, maintains donor records, and prepares monthly reports for the Leadership Board.  We assist with budgeting, special analysis projects, and account for the church’s Endowment funds.  As an administrative department, our goal is to assist the program and worship teams accomplish the mission to love, worship and serve Christ.

I earned my C.P.A. certificate, and am a graduate of the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a B.S. in Business Administration.  I worked in public accounting for more than 20 years, preparing corporate financial statements and tax returns.  Previous experience includes supervising subsidiary accounting at Peabody Coal Company, and being the Controller for a start-up video production company.

My husband, Phil and I have a son and daughter, and enjoy spending time with our large extended family in the St. Louis area.  We are first time grandparents and extremely excited about this amazing gift in our lives.  In my free time, I look forward to working out at the gym, reading, and catching up with friends.

I am grateful to be a member of the MUMC staff, to serve our members, and enjoy the warm and welcoming environment.  I see Christ at work within our walls on a daily basis.
