Wrapped in Warmth

Dates:  September 13 – October 10, 2026
Drop-Off Location:   Marble Narthex | Manchester UMC

Before colder weather arrives, Manchester United Methodist Church and Fifth Street Renaissance are joining together for Wrapped in Warmth.

From September 13 through October 10, 2026, we invite you to donate clean blankets for people experiencing chronic and unsheltered homelessness in St. Clair and Madison Counties.

New and gently used blankets are welcome. Every size, shape, weight, and thickness can serve a purpose. Donations should be clean, dry, usable, and free of strong odors, pests, and visible damage.

Fifth Street Renaissance’s Metro East Homeless Outreach Team will distribute the blankets directly to people living on streets, in vehicles, in wooded encampments, in abandoned structures, and in other places not intended for habitation.

Donate a clean blanket and help provide warmth, protection, and dignity to a neighbor facing winter outdoors.
