AV Volunteers Needed | Sunday Morning Worship
The AV/Production Team works behind the scenes to make things happen! We are in need of volunteers to help with operating the video camera, running worship slides, Facebook Moderator, photography, and other production opportunities. No experience is necessary and training will be provided. Newcomers are always welcome!

Senior Social Drop In
July 16 | 9a-Noon
Come join the Senior Social Drop-In group and bring a friend! It’s a good time to meet other seniors. We play games (Mexican Train, Rummykube, cards, etc.) or would love to play a game you bring. Enjoy snacks and wonderful conversations. It’s a casual drop-in so come as you are!

Adult Singles Bible Study
Sundays Beginning July 26 | 11a
Join this class as they begin Adam Hamilton’s new book The Holy Spirit. Discuss the focus on the presence of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament along with the emphasis of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament, in Paul’s letters and the early church, and in our own lives. This class is open to all relationship statuses, whether single or coupled.

Evening Reading Group

The Evening Book Group enjoys reading and discussing a book per month! The book for July is Becoming Madam Secretary by Stephanie Dray.

Sneakers with Soul Now-August 3
Sneakers with Soul works with local social service agencies such as LifeWise Stl and Epworth Children and Family Services, as well as area school districts to identify and properly fit children and youth that will be the recipients of quality brand name sneakers. Parents and guardians of the children/youth who receive the new sneakers pay nothing for the new sneakers that they receive. Learn how you can help us reach our goal of $20,000!

Voter Information Session

An informational session is being brought to members and friends of Manchester UMC by the Social Justice Ministry as a nonpartisan/apolitical program led by our own Nancy Miller, former president of the League of Women Voters of metro St. Louis, for the purpose of informing and educating voters about what is on the upcoming election on August 4.

The Church & Transgender Experience

Join us for an opportunity to hear a personal account of one individual’s transgender journey and its intersection with faith, family, and church life. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.

Volunteer at ReStore July 17 | 10a-Noon
Looking for a hands-on way to support Habitat’s mission without swinging a hammer? Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a perfect opportunity! ReStore is a retail outlet that sells new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and more. Proceeds support Habitat for Humanity St. Louis and help fund homebuilding projects across the community.

We are collecting any unopened, unused packs of toilet paper that will then be donated to Circle of Concern! All donations can be dropped off in the bins outside the Main Office.

Care Ambassador Ministry Mondays, August 10-31 | 6:30p
Manchester UMC is launching a Care Ambassador Ministry to provide ongoing care and connection for individuals and families, especially those unable to participate in worship or church activities due to illness or other circumstances. Sign up today!
