Our upcoming masterworks concert will showcase Franz Schubert’s  Mass in G alongside Josef Rheinberger’s Organ Concerto No. 1. The Manchester UMC Chancel Choir will be accompanied by John Cargile on the organ, complemented by a string orchestra. This concert is a splendid opportunity to experience the rich harmonies and intricate compositions of these classical masterpieces. The Chancel Choir’s powerful vocals will bring Schubert’s Mass in G to life, capturing the profound spiritual depth and lyrical beauty of the piece. Meanwhile, Rheinberger’s Organ Concerto No. 1 will highlight John Cargile’s exceptional talent, as his skillful organ playing resonates throughout the sanctuary, filling it with majestic sound.
