Description:  From Endeavor Together, this is a four-part series as we explore vulnerability. We hear from numerous guests, as well as lots of other social science research and scripture, that growth as a human being requires honesty and openness with ourselves about ourselves, and with others.

It’s often helpful to return to the cardinal virtues to frame any new pursuit. And with regard to vulnerability, you especially want to point toward two of the cardinal virtues: courage and prudence. Courage is crucial here because it acknowledges the fear that arises and then finds a way forward toward doing what is right and good, in spite of the fear. This series will also require prudence to discern that the five-alarm emotional bell blaring in your nervous system might not be so much about the present moment as it is a response to a painful experience from your past.
