  • The Divine Nature of Creationism through the Seasons of Our Lives by Prudy Bertolino
    September 14 – 21, 2025
Creation is not just a one-time event but an ongoing process a part of life’s natural rhythm. Just as the seasons change so do we. Spring brings new beginnings, summer represents our most active and productive years, autumn symbolizes reflection and preparation, and winter invites rest and acceptance. Aging mirrors this cycle, reminding us that we are part of a greater process of creation that continues through each stage of life. Copies of this study will be provided in class.
  • Jonah – the Depth of Grace by Stephen Witmer
    September 28 – November 2, 2025
The story of “Jonah and the wale is one of the most famous in the Bible but its message is perhaps one of the most ignored. The book reveals to us the depths of God’s grace, both to “outsiders” and “insiders”. It shows us God’s compassion for the lost and His patience with His wayward people. Its message has great relevance today for God’s people living in an increasingly non-Christian culture.
  • Women Who Followed Jesus   by Prudy Bertolino
    November 9 – 16, 2025
There were women who followed Jesus throughout his ministry in and around Galilee and on to Jerusalem, at the cross and at the tomb. The manner and degree of their faithfulness is remarkable. These women, were vital to Jesus and their traits of true discipleship, are noted in three of the four gospels. In this study, we will reflect on their lives of discipleship with Jesus.  Copies of this study will be provided in class.
  • November 23 – We will not meet due to Thanksgiving
  • Faithful:  Christmas through the Eyes of Joseph  by Rev. Adam Hamilton
    November 30 – 21, 2025
From his beginnings as a humble carpenter to his all-important role as the earthly father of Jesus Christ, Joseph’s place in the nativity story is sometimes overlooked but contains valuable lessons for all of us. Absent from much of the biblical narrative, Joseph never spoke a word, but his courageous actions were crucial to the birth of Christ and God’s salvation plan for humanity. As you read this book, you will understand how Joseph’s story is much like our own. In life, we encounter circumstances that we would never have chosen for ourselves. Joseph provides us a great example of humbly obeying God even when we don’t understand and faithfully moving forward in the strength that God provides.   Book:  $14
