Sept. 6-Oct. 11:  Jesus and Justice

Join Alpha Class for a six-week study of Jesus and Justice by John Dominic Crossan and Michael Okinczyc-Cruz, the 2026 selection. Together, we’ll explore a fresh perspective on the historical Jesus and consider what it means to follow him in today’s world. We’ll begin on September 6 with the YouTube presentation, From a Tribal God to a Universal Presence: The Story of the Bible, followed by weekly book discussions starting September 13. 

Oct. 18-Nov. 15:  Life of Meaning: Kathleen Norris on Discovering What Matters 

Alpha Class’s second study explores Embracing a Life of Meaning: Kathleen Norris on Discovering What Matters by Kathleen Norris. Together, we’ll discover how faith shapes everyday life—not as a set of doctrines, but as love in action. Nov. 22-Dec. 20:  Voices of Advent 

Alpha Class will finish the Fall semester with a study of Matthew Skinner’s book Voices of Advent as we turn our hearts and minds to the miracle of Christ being born among us.
