Description: The study of “What the OLD TESTAMENT Authors Really Cared About,” by Jason DeRouchie will continue through September 21, 2025. In this long-term study of books of the Old Testament, we are beginning to focus on books of the Major Prophets, with a brief survey of each of these books.
There are always take-home handouts you can keep, as we continue to look at what each Old Testament author most wanted to emphasize, including prophecies that are fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Each Sunday we intend to review a different Old Testament book.
Starting October 12 – Prepare the Way for the Lord by Rev. Adam Hamilton
This series will take us into the Advent season as we focus especially on John the Baptist, a messenger of God whose life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecy of Isaiah who spoke of one crying in the wilderness, “Prepare the way for the Lord,” and even now he calls us to prepare our hearts and lives for his coming. There are always take-home handouts you can keep.
This is a group of mostly senior adults and newcomers are always welcome!
