Connection Groups

Connection Groups

We’d love for you to be part of something new at Manchester UMC! Our brand-new Connection Groups are just getting started, offering a welcoming space to meet people, build meaningful connections, and enjoy time together along the way.

International Dinner Groups

Discover the world’s flavors without leaving St. Louis! Join a welcoming group of fellow food lovers to savor international cuisine at some of the city’s hidden gems of restaurants. We will meet once a month. Come hungry for food, laughter, and fellowship!

Home Dinner Groups

Take time to slow down, visit, and share a meal in these groups that will meet in homes of the group’s members about once a month. Whether you bring a homemade dish, or pick up some takeout, the highlight is the warm conversation and time spent in fellowship around the table.

International Lunch Bunch

Get ready for an exciting culinary journey as these adventurous foodies dive into the vibrant flavors of St. Louis! Each monthly lunch will be a passport to a new world of taste while enjoying each other’s company in table fellowship.

Home Bible Study

Settle in and enjoy exploring the Scriptures together in a warm, relaxed setting. Each study typically focuses on a single book of the Bible, often accompanied by a study guide and engaging video sessions. Groups may choose to gather in one home throughout the study or take turns hosting.

Festivals, Tours, and Museums

Are you ready to dive into the vibrant world of festivals, behind-the-scenes tours, and the hottest new exhibits? Join our lively group and get ready to explore all that St. Louis has to offer! Please note some festivals and tours may require up to an hour of walking. Together, we will experience the history, architecture, and diversity of St. Louis -- swapping stories, sharing fellowship, and celebrating our favorite moments.

Pathfinders: Young Adults in their 20’s-early 30’s

Looking for people your age who get where you’re at in life? This brand new young adult group is all about fun, friendship, and a faith that’s lived out in real, everyday ways. Rooted in the Methodist tradition of grace, community, and growing together to more fully love God and love neighbor, we meet once a month for games, activities, and meaningful conversations—no pressure, just a place to belong, ask questions, and walk with others following Christ on the same path.

Games and Grub 43

Games & Movies Groups

Join us for a engaging time of fellowship through game nights and trips to the movie theater! This group is a great opportunity for adults to build friendships, enjoy fun activities together, and connect in a welcoming Christian community. Whether you come on your own or invite a friend, we'd love to have you join us.

LGBTQ+ Groups

This adult group is fully affirming, open space for LGBTQ+ persons to connect, share life, and simply enjoy being together. Whether you're exploring faith, returning after a complicated church experience, or just looking for community, you're welcome exactly as you are. We'll gather for board games, trivia nights, casual hangouts -- and for conversations that honor everyone's stories and questions. Grounded in the Methodist values of grace, belonging, and loving God and loving our neighbors, we're committed to creating a Christ--centered community where every person is seen, respected, and celebrated. We'll meet once a month at Manchester UMC and at local spots around town for friendship, reflection, and fun in a space where safety and inclusion are non-negotiable.
