An Evening of Personal Story, Reflection, and Conversation
Join us for an opportunity to hear a personal account of one individual’s transgender journey and its intersection with faith, family, and church life. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.
About the Speaker
N. Odessa Karwyn (she/fae) is the eldest of Steve and Anne Kidd’s three children. She earned a Master of Divinity degree from Nashotah House Seminary and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology from Marquette University.
Odessa lives in Bellingham, Washington where she co-parents two children, aged 6 and 12, and serves as a Care Specialist with University Residences at Western Washington University. She writes theological reflections on her journey and trans experience. To learn more about this, click here.
