Description: Experience the Christmas story in a fresh way! Join this new small group as we explore the birth of Jesus alongside the remarkable birth stories of Isaac, Ishmael, Samson, and Samuel. Guided by Amy-Jill Levine’s A Child Is Born, we’ll discover how a Jewish scholar of the New Testament brings new depth and insight to the nativity. A brief assignment will be emailed each week before class, making it easy to prepare for thoughtful discussion. Come see the story of Christ’s birth with fresh eyes.
