Description: In this 8 week series, we will discuss skills associated with truly understanding and knowing others.  Using David Brooks’ “How to Know a Person” as a guide, participants will discuss important ways life is enriched when one sees deeply and is deeply seen.

Class members will be invited to share their faith/life stories (not required)   This book study/discussion group follows the spring Sanctuary course on the interface of Mental Health and the Church where personal stories shared by individuals with lived experience of mental health crises highlighted the value of church as a safe and welcoming place.  This course offers a time to reflect on ways we as the church can continue to grow as a safe haven for all.

Leaders:  Dr. Steven Kidd is a Psychologist, and his wife, Dr. Anne Kidd is a Social Worker.
