Haggai 2:6-7, Malachi 3:1-4. The coming Messiah will “shake” creation and purify the people, not as a punishment but so that they can “offer to the Lord an offering of righteousness.” We are purified by the love and grace of God so that our lives can be an embodiment of God’s love and grace for others. Our response to the coming Messiah is to offer ourselves in love and service to others.
